SALES CONTRACT
When you purchase a puppy/dog from me, you are required to sign and agree to my contract.
Contract between the Breeder/ Seller, Heather Pennington and Buyer______________________________ .
Said puppy/dog is sold to Buyer at the total price of $_______.
A deposit of $200.00 is required to hold chosen puppy/dog with remaining balance due at pickup (8 weeks of age). Deposits are nonrefundable. In case of the puppy's demise or injury, the buyer may choose another puppy if available or wait until the next available litter to choose another one of equal value.
All puppies must be picked up when they are 8 weeks old.. If the puppy cannot be picked up between the 8 week pick-up dates, a charge of $5.00 per day will be charged. This is applied to the final balance owed for the proper care and feeding of your new puppy. If this service is required, prior arrangements must be made. We are not always available for extended puppy care.

A. To the best of my knowledge, said puppy/dog is in healthy and sound condition at the time of sale. Buyer has 48 hours from the time of delivery/pickup to have a vet check done on said puppy. Vet check must be done by a licensed veterinarian. If Buyer fails to have the vet check done within 48 hours, any and all obligations offered by the seller to replace said dog/puppy for any reason will be considered null and void. Keep all medical records and shot records from your vet.
B. All puppies/dogs are sold as PET QUALITY ONLY. This does not mean they are not show/breeding quality, but they are sold as companions. Seller CANNOT guarantee size, coat length, eye color or temperament. All of our puppies will go home with age appropriate shots, deworming, microchip and a Health Certificate. They will also have ASCA or AKC registration applications. Breeding rights are available at an additional fee.
C. Health guarantee does not cover any parasite, internal or external, as these are treatable conditions.
The Buyer agrees to maintain preventative health care of the puppy and/or dog including, but not limited to: inoculations, internal as well as external parasites, heartworm preventative medication. The Buyer agrees to maintain preventative care of the puppy and/or dog in regards to hip dysplasia, such as proper nutrition, proper exercise, and preventing stress injuries (i.e. not allowing the puppy to jump from heights taller than itself at the shoulder, no forced exercise such as running, until at least 18 months of age.)
D. At NO TIME will Seller refund money, and Seller is in no way responsible for any vet bills made after puppy/dog leaves the care of Heather Pennington. In the event that a life threatening congenital problem should arise within the first year of life, said puppy/dog shall be replaced with a puppy of same color/sex and of equal value from the next available litter, provided that said puppy/dog has been returned to the Seller in the same condition as it was sold. Buyer must provide a letter and all medical records from all licensed veterinarians that have seen the puppy/dog that states the condition of puppy/dog. Seller has the right to consult another veterinarian. Shipping is always the responsibility of Buyer, even in the event a puppy is to be sent back and/or replaced. Any and all vet bills are the responsibility of Buyer with NO EXCEPTIONS.
THERE WILL BE NO REFUND GIVEN IF A BUYER "CHANGES HIS/HER MIND". Buying a puppy is a huge responsibility....please BE SURE!!! We will gladly take the puppy back, at any time or any age,, but there will be NO Cash REFUNDS.
E. All shipping costs related to any puppy/dog being purchased, as well as in relationship to any puppy/dog being replaced for any reason, are the responsibility of the Buyer. Seller shall not be responsible for death or injury of any puppy/dog due to negligence or carelessness of any airline or other live animal carrier, it's agents or employees, or the Buyer.
